Salt Caves Himalayan Salt Inhaler Pipe is made from porcelain. Each Salt Caves Himalayan Salt Inhaler Pipe has two filters for inhaling – one located on upper side of the pipe and one is located on the lower side of the pipe. Each Salt Caves Salt Pipe contains 60-70 grams of granular Himalayan salt.

Hi Justin, 15-20 minutes is just our recommended guidelines for daily use of the salt pipe. We feel that given a salt therapy session at Salt Caves lasts for 45 minutes, using it for an extended period time may help. Try using the salt pipe twice a day.
It may also be a good idea to come and visit the Salt Cave for a therapy session as we have had some remarkable results.

Is it safe to use the salt pipe for more than 15-20 minutes a day? I have very bad asthma and I feel like my puffer isn't helping me very well...

Wow, what a great idea! Portable salt therapy for when you can't make it to Salt Caves. This would be good for people who suffer chronic allergies and hay fever every day.
